Start here.

Aura is a local voice bridge for Claude Code and Codex. She listens while you work, dispatches sub-agents, and calls you back when there is something to look at. These pages cover the install, the first call, and the recipes worth running on day one.

Read top to bottom if this is your first time. Otherwise, pick a recipe. Each one is a short walkthrough with a voice prompt you can read out loud and a worker she can hand off to. Nothing here assumes you are a power user, and nothing here is aspirational — if a feature is not yet shipped, the page will say so.

If you get stuck

She has a sleep state and a muted state, and they look similar. If she stops responding, check the bar — a slash through the disc means muted, dim rings mean sleeping. The hotkey for both is the same: ⌘ ⇧ A. If neither works, the daemon may be down — the Operations section covers that.
