Resume after a break.

Use Sleep when you are stepping away but still want worker callbacks. Use End when the session is finished.

Sleeping and muted look similar from a distance. A dim bar with no rings means sleeping. A slash through the disc means muted — you silenced her deliberately. Click the bar or use the Aura window shortcut to re-enter.

01.

Step away with Sleep.

Choose Sleep when you want the voice call quiet but still want Aura to watch for worker results. If a worker is still running, the app can stay in awaiting and show the callback when a result is observed.

02.

The callback notification.

When the worker finishes, Aura records the result in the local activity stream and surfaces a callback state in the app. Depending on your callback setting, she either asks before speaking or speaks immediately.

Callback promise

If Aura said she would call you back, the worker result is kept in local task state and the app can surface it when Aura is running again.

03.

Re-enter the call.

Click the bar, or press ⌘ ⏎ from the Aura window. She resumes against the same local session and worker state when that state is still available.

“i'm back — what did she find.”
04.

Sleep vs. end the call.

In the floating bar, Sleep ends the voice call but keeps Aura alive for callbacks. Just End quits the Aura instance fully — no callbacks, no daemon. Use Sleep when you are stepping away but still waiting on a worker. Use Just End when the session is fully complete and you want a clean shutdown.
